Welcome to the EUROSINT Forum newsletter!
The EUROSINT Team is delighted to send you the fourth issue of the EUROSINT Forum newsletter.
The EUROSINT Forum is a non-for-profit association under Belgian Law, created in 2006, and dedicated to European cooperation and use of Open Source Intelligence (OSINT). The objective of EUROSINT, which regroups more than 250 security professionals across Europe, is to:
• Identify needs in process, methodology and tools;
• Study best practices;
• Encourage pre-competitive research projects;
• Bring together specialists and end-users.
The objective of this newsletter is to inform you about latest and upcoming activities of the EUROSINT Forum. In this newsletter you will find updates about upcoming EUROSINT workshops, workshops held in the framework of the FP7 RECOBIA project, and information about the Annual General Assembly of Members.

Workshops in the framework of FP7-Funded RECOBIA project
The aim of the RECOBIA project is to improve the quality of intelligence analysis by reducing the negative impact of cognitive biases upon intelligence analysis. Please visit www.recobia.eu should you be interested in the project.
In the framework of FP7 RECOBIA project, the 9 partners of the project’s consortium are holding a series of six workshops with European Intelligence public representatives. The EUROSINT Forum is a partner of the project and it is responsible for organising these workshops, as well as inviting the members of its network to participate. Costs of participation (including transport and accommodation) are covered by the EUROSINT Forum in the framework of the project.

• Upcoming workshop: 28 and 29 April 2014
The next workshop of the RECOBIA project will take place on 28 and 29 April 2014 in Madrid, Spain. This 5th workshop of the RECOBIA project will focus on "devising solutions for cognitive biases impacting intelligence analysis". Proceedings of this workshop will be available on the RECOBIA website for registered users.
Annual General Assembly of Members - 28 May 2014 in Brussels
An Annual General Assembly of Members will be held in Brussels on 28 May 2014. As the current board was elected on 31 May 2013 for two years, there won't be an election this year.
This Annual General Assembly of Members will focus on presenting the financial accounts 2013, activities held in 2013 and planned activities for 2014.
Upcoming workshop on "Future Technological Trends" - Fall 2014
The objective of this workshop will be to discuss on future technological trends and their impact on security and defense. More information will be published soon on the EUROSINT Forum website.
