The FP7 VALCRI project and the EUROSINT FORUM are pleased to invite you on a two-day workshop that will introduce a series of best practices in Strategic Foresight to support intelligence and law enforcement functions in Europe.

Aim of the Workshop
The course is dedicated to security and law enforcement professionals working in an intelligence or strategic planning function. It will introduce the discipline of strategic foresight and demonstrate its application using a series of structured analytic techniques. Participants will be invited to explore the future of European security using simple scenario planning processes and a range of foresight tools. In parallel, participants will also evaluate the VALCRI system, an FP7-funded tool to support strategic and operational criminal intelligence analysis.
The seminar will be led by Chris Pallaris, director of i-intelligence GmbH, and chair of the EUROSINT Forum’s Working Group on Best Practices in Intelligence. The language of the workshop will be English.
Registration is free to attend. Participants will have to cover their own travel, accommodation and living costs. Space is limited to 20 participants with no more than two participants per organization. Spaces will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
