The EUROSINT FORUM, SAIL LABS Technology and AIT (Austrian Institute of Technology) are pleased to invite you to a workshop that aims to gather European public representatives and security and intelligence practitioners around the topic of the use of social medias and Internet for influence, disinformation and propaganda campaigns, especially by terrorist groups.
This workshop is open to all public representatives and members of the EUROSINT Forum. The deadline for inscription is 24/03/2017.
Here is the draft agenda of the workshop.
Radicalisation in the Digital Era - Influence, disinformation and propaganda - Workshop on Technological and Conceptual Gaps
In times of massive use of social media (and possible related propaganda, disinformation or influence campaigns) and further increasing radicalisation through various means, LEAs and intelligence bodies need to be even more aware and capable of the threat landscape both from a technological and conceptual level.
The workshop will also include a nice surprise cultural dinner event on April 6, sponsored by SAIL LABS Technology.
Inscription procedure
Registration is free for public representatives and members of the EUROSINT Forum but places are limited.
Please contact the EUROSINT FORUM team (Axel Dyèvre or Martin de Maupeou - team@eurosint.eu) if you wish to register to this event.
This workshop is organised by the EUROSINT FORUM (www.eurosint.eu), the not-for-profit association dedicated to European cooperation in the field of Intelligence and Security, and supported by SAIL LABS Technology (www.sail-labs.com), one of the world's leading innovators in the field of Speech Technology, creating high-end software for speech and multimedia analysis and a founding member of the EUROSINT FORUM.
