... EUROSINT, the European Open Source Intelligence forum, attracted an audience that one rarely sees in the same room in this city: intelligence specialists from national defense and interior ministers; the European Defense Agency; the European Commission; prime ministerial cabinets; the EU Military Staff and Situation Awareness Center; Europol, the pan-EU police network; Interpol; and a scattering of defense companies, nongovernmental organizations and think tanks.

The Speed Dating format aims to allow those who are offering either technology or services (e.g. Consulting, information services, etc...) based on Open Source Intelligence the possibility to present their offering in a series of very short one-on-one meetings with officials from European countries and Institutions.
For Government officials from European countries and institutions, the Speed Dating format aims to provide the chance to see what technologies and also what services (anything from privately produced OSINT through to consulting) are now available in for use in Open Source Intelligence.
You will have a chance to meet each and every one for five minutes initially, gradually moving along the line of the table to have a series of very brief one-on-one meeting. Two hours are foreseen later in the day for follow-up conversations, which allow associate members to come back to explore in much greater depth the products and services they found the most interesting
This event comes in response to the request from associate members (who are all officials in governmental organisations) to have a better idea of what technologies and services are available, as well as to stimulate the industry to join together in consortia for relevant R&D projects.
